Tips for the PERFECT Spray Tan

The best time to spray is 2 days before your event. If your event is on a Saturday, you will want to spray on a Thursday. That means your prep day is Wednesday!!!!

AVOID
Any product on your skin after your prep shower. Moisturizers, Perfumes, Oils, Makeup can all prevent your spray from absorbing correctly. Same thing for shaving! Those bars of stuff on razors are huge problem! They create a shield at making sprays just fall off skin!! We suggest only using products before/during/after your spray that are  made for sprays! Read below for our favorite products and how to use them in your routine for the best results!

*Exfoliate
Not all products are the same! We suggest the Selfie Sunless Tan Remover to get your skin ready for your spray and using the Selfie Exfoliating Mitt or a regular cloth wash towel to buff it off. Use the remover on your skin about 20 minutes before showering and buff it out with a mitt! Spraying or not, we suggest exfoliating one time per week to keep skin young and fresh!
Exfoliate about a day before your spray! You want no sooner than 4-6 hours before your spray and no later than 24 hours before your spray. Make sure to exfoliate THEN shave ;) Make sure to shave with Head to Glow, a shave cream designed for sprays, we sell it! Shave creams, coconut oil, the lather or silk strips on razer bars will repel sprays!!
